What search equipment to use to find boat in muddy /silty river?

There is documented info about a king's boat that capsized in the middle of a river. about 800 years ago. The location has been narrowed down to about half a mile radius. The river is muddy/silty. In winters the depth is twenty feet or so. The boat is probably heavily silted over. The king was trying to escape with his treasure when the boat capsized. Looking for ideas on how to locate and recover.

Hi Alikhan

If you assume that nothing more protrudes of this boot on the grounds you broke a low-frequency sonar, a so-called
sub​​-bottom profiler, or a magnetometer.
Inexpensive sonar (Lowrance, Humminbird) with good graphical representation and a 50khz transducher could suffice for now.
