In 50 feet wof water mid way between Round Island and Washington Island just east of Clayton.

A double-ender sailing yacht  The Dauntless had been salvaged by Clayton shipbuilders in the early 1900's.  The engine and metal work were removed.  Then the ship was set on fire and drifted down river until she sank.
