Is that Quagga mussels all over the Lost Deck Cargo?

All those photos from the post of the Lost Deck Cargo that was discovered seem to be cover with something. Are those Quagga or Zebra Mussels?

YES, Quagga mussels.
They are the mussels that are in deeper water. We have seen them to depths to over 600 ft.

Thanks Jim. We are holding our breath here in Lake Tahoe since we all think they were probably already transported from Lake Meade before they had boat inspections. We have asian clams, milfoil and pondweed now but those quagga look scary!
