How do I determine GPS coordinates for a wreck, if I only have a location description (e.g. 50 miles west of Kincardine, ON)?

What is the name of the shipwreck? Maybe the postition is known and someone reading your post can provide the exact position for you. Otherwise you can use Google Earth to help determine a location 5o miles from a specific point on earth.

Find a copy of The Great Lakes Diving Guide by Cris Kohl as his book gives information on wrecks located in the Great Lakes. If you like shipwrecks you will enjoy his book.
